Recently, China Yangtze Power International (Hongkong) Co., Ltd (CYPI) of CYPC organized a 7-day exchange activity for Peruvian employees visiting China. Six excellent employee from Peruvian Luz del Sur S.A.A. (LDS) come to China for learning and exchang.
In this duration, LDS employee representatives reported to the Management of CYPC, and carried out all-round communication and exchanges with relevant departments and units on audit, safety management, production technology, brand promotion, and ESG, etc. They also visited the Three Gorges Project to learn about the advanced safety management and technological innovation experience of the Three Gorges Hydropower Plant. Through the exchange activity, LDS employees gained a deeper understanding of CYPC's operation and management, felt the development and strengths of the China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), and fully experienced the unique features and charm of Chinese culture.
The exchange activity left a deep impression on the LDS’s employees. Edgardo Valdivia, the Plant Manager of the Santa Teresa Power Plant said, "As a hydropower practitioner, it was my dream to visit the Three Gorges Project, and now it has finally come true. I have been greatly shocked by achievements of the Three Gorges Project in technological innovation. Meanwhile, I am very proud to be a member of the CTG. I hope to have more opportunities to learn and exchange in the future".

Since the acquisition of LDS in Peru in 2020, CYPC has been deeply involved in the business management of LDS, and has established a good communication mechanism and mutual trust with its foreign employees. Since 2023, CYPC has established a regular employee exchange mechanism, inviting excellent employee representatives of LDS to visit China for learning and exchange every year, to gain a deep understanding of Chinese culture, CTG's business management philosophy, production, , as well as technical experience, thereby promoting mutual trust between the two sides through communication and achieving win-win results through cooperation.
