The Wind Power Project is located in the Jampier area of Tata, Sindh Province, southern Pakistan. It has three wind farms, which are built in two phases. The Project's total installed capacity is 148.5 MW. Among which, the Phase I Project was the first project invested by CTG in Pakistan in 2014 and was also a benchmarking project in Pakistan's wind power industry; the Phase II Project is a priority project of the “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)” confirmed by the governments of China and Pakistan, and also CTG's first "CPEC" project in operation.
On May 16, 2019, CYPC took over the operation, maintenance and management of the Wind Power Project in Pakistan, and also marked the commencement of the operation and management of CYPC's first overseas entity project. Following the standard of the Three Gorges, the project has established a sound production standard system, tapped the internal potential, and built a localized learning team. Pakistani employees' professional skills have been improved through internal basic training, practical guidance and exercise, lectures given by external training experts, and required certificates for all employees.
